What makes you bark? I’m a hound dog – EVERYTHING!

What makes you smile? Tickling my feet

What makes your tail wag? Food and love

Best Memory: When my parents first brought me home from the shelter when I was only 3 months old, and my new Mom sat in the back seat of the car with me. I was so happy to have found them that I sat on my new Mom’s feet for that ride, knowing I was now safe and loved. After that, I followed her around the house and sat on her feet any time she stopped moving so I could stay with her.

Funniest Moment: Play catch with me and watch me bounce balls off my nose like a seal

If you could give your human advice, what words of wisdom would you share? Live every minute to the fullest; love every moment of your life; always move with 150% enthusiasm; always be happy and positive

Wild card (something unique about you): I’m both the most hyper dog in the world (I run laps regularly around the house even at 13) and have the nickname “love machine” because I also am the best snuggler ever. You can hug me, lay on me, stick your face on mine, anything. I love it all.

Why are you coming to Wellsprings? I have a bad back – The humans call it degenerative disc disease. Back in 2003, I had surgery on my mid-back to repair some dics, and then in late 2010, I ruptured one in my neck and had to have surgery again. Mom wants me to be strong and surgery-free in my old age.

What do you like best about Wellsprings? Swimming!!!! I love to move and am not allowed to run, so I can just go, go, go in that pool. I don’t want to stop, and if you make me stop for a break, I will howl and whine until you let me move again.
